ALTONA GATE AMBIENCE UPGRADE

Completed in December 2019 via D&C, the $8.7m project included both an internal and external upgrade. Designed by Architects EAT the transformation included an artistic mesh veil suspended below the centre’s main skylight along with new Pause Points, balustrades, new ambient lighting throughout, amenities upgrade and new floor, column, and ceiling treatments. Externally, the Coles entrance was upgraded, a new community space created with custom, inbuilt timber clad seating with lush planting and feature lighting.
