STOCKLAND HALCYON HIGHLANDS LLC CLUBHOUSE PRECINCT

Completed six weeks ahead of schedule in late 2025, the Halcyon Highlands Clubhouse Precinct is a landmark community project that showcases Insitu Group’s capability to deliver high‑quality, highly detailed, and technically complex built environments. Located in Mickleham, 30km north of Melbourne, this $13.5 million precinct for Stockland sets a new benchmark in lifestyle, wellness, and recreational amenity for the Highlands community.

Designed by Clarke Hopkins Clarke, the development comprises two architecturally refined single‑level buildings—the Clubhouse and Messy Arts Building—interconnected through premium external landscaping, recreational facilities, and curated outdoor spaces. The Clubhouse itself is divided into two wings: a Lifestyle Wing featuring private dining, a function room with bar and dance floor, lounge, cinema, golf simulator and multipurpose spaces; and a Wellness Wing housing a magnesium‑infused pool, sauna, yoga room, gym, hair salon, treatment rooms, and library. The separate Messy Arts Building supports creative and community engagement with a workshop, potting shed, sports storage, BBQ areas and outdoor dining zones. Externally, the precinct includes pickleball courts, a bowling green, plunge pool, walking trails, extensive landscaping and a community veggie garden—all seamlessly integrated to create a welcoming, resort‑style environment for residents.

The project’s success was driven by a collaborative culture, strong trade engagement, innovative construction methodology, and a deeply committed project team. Construction was conducted under stringent safety, environmental and quality frameworks, resulting in zero incidents and the protection of four significant Red Gum trees through carefully managed non‑destructive excavation and arborist oversight.
